Dr. Raeanna Marie Tisdell-Covington DVM
I am Dr. Raeanna Marie Tisdell-Covington DVM, owner of All Creatures Veterinary Hospital. My love for animals started when I was growing up on my family's dairy farm in New York Mills, MN where I cared for baby calves, farm and house cats, family dogs, horses, and milked cows for 15 years. I graduated from New York Mills High School and attended undergraduate at Vermilion Community College and Jamestown College, as well as the University of Minnesota. I graduated from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998, then moved back to the Perham area and established All Creatures Veterinary Hospital in 1999.
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Dr. David Covington, MD for 24 years and have been blessed with 6 beautiful children - Tristan, Ciarrin, Brynnan, Caitlin, Gareth and Trinity. Our family also includes: three dogs - Angus (Westie), Winston (Old English Bulldog), and Buddy (Golden Retriever), three cats - Tigger (Farm Cat), Spike, and Hazel, and also an African Grey
Parrot - Alex, three guinea pigs, one rabbit, and four horses. I know firsthand what an integral, important part of the family our pets are, and I treat each and every one as if they were my own.
Dr. Dennis Stanford DVM
I am Dennis Stanford. I joined the All Creature team in 2004. I have a Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Psychology and Biology from Monteith Co. Waynes State University. I also have a Master's Degree in Animal Science from Michigan State University, earning my DVM degree. I am licensed and federally accredited in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
I designed, built, and practiced in a super-insulated, solar powered clinic in Michigan for 12 years before joining All Creatures Veterinary Hospital in 2004. I enjoy the area for both summer and winter outdoor activities and its people.
Hi, I'm Bernice Niemela. I have been married for three decades, and have two wonderful grown children and four adorable grandsons. I also have a house full of four-legged critters and, obviously, a very understanding husband. I have quite a list of hobbies, but at the top of the list is getting outside and seeing my many rock gardens, crocheting, and spending as much time with my family as I can.
If I could give any advice to anyone, it would be "enjoy what you have in front of you; do not take things for granted; be who you are, not who someone else wants you to be; treasure the smallest things; only give if it's in your heart, not because you want something back; and stand up for what you believe in."
My name is Becky Frasz and I am a receptionist and vet assistant here at All Creatures Veterinary Hospital. My journey with All Creatures started back when I was in middle school, working the kennels and learning other duties in the clinic. I worked at All Creatures all throughout my high school years, and summers during college. I attained my degree in Child Development and Family Science (children are my second passion) from North Dakota State University, and then worked for a childcare center for three years after moving back to the Perham area. In the summer of 2013, I accepted a full-time position here at All Creatures, as animals have always had a special place in my heart.
My family includes my boyfriend Craig, and my daughter Halle. Our four-legged family members include Gauge (Yellow Lab), Oakley (Chocolate Lab), and our cat Milo. I enjoy spending time with my family and enjoying the outdoors.
Hi, I am Judy Frasz and a part time receptionist here at All Creatures. I live in Perham with my husband, dog and cat. I have two children and two wonderful grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with family and my animals. I also like to work in my garden and relax reading a good book.
I am an only child raised in Hawley MN and graduated from Hawley high school in 2015. Growing up, my house was always a multiple pet household. We had cats, dogs, and bunnies. We used to have a beagle when I was very young, then a couple rough collies. We have had many shelties over the years, and most recently we have gotten two Australian Shepherds.
Currently our house is run by our four shelties (our oldest and smartest being 15 years old) two aussies, four very friendly outside kitties and two bunnies. I have been training and showing our dogs since I was very young and continue to train for show now. I have shown our dogs in agility, obedience, rally and confirmation in 4-H and AKC. I also used to breed and show my bunnies in 4-H.
My greatest accomplishment in dog showing is winning seven grand champions at the Minnesota State 4-H Dog Show with my now happily retired 15year old sheltie Emmy. I graduated from Globe University in Moorhead with an Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology in March 2017, which is the same time I started working at All Creatures Veterinary Hospital.
I love my job because I love caring for animals, big or small and I want owners to know that their pets are in great hands when they come in to see us, whether it is a health checkup, boarding, a surgery, or a sick visit. Every pet that come in is loved and cared for as though they were my own, because that is the kind of care i would like for my own pets.
